Some people view religion following people as weak. As if
they need a crutch. What they fail to realize is that we all need some sort of crutch. This is not to say that people are incapable or disabled. But, when over five-hundred-thousand people are injured in alcohol-related car accidents in a year, you can see that people can be rather stupid. You can see that we need something to be a guiding force in our lives. When seven-million-six-hundred-thousand people die from cancer in a year, people will ask, "Why is this happening?”. People need to know that there is a reason for which things happen. That there is good that will come of all the bad. Religion is very important and is something that should never be taken away.

Your thesis that people need a guiding force in their lives to help explain the unexplainable is very strong. Excellent post, and the stats make your argument that much stronger.
20/20 points.
You have a very good opinion on religion. As humans we do need some sort of belief in anotheir being that can give us answers as to why things happen.
